Merry Christmas!

I decided to focus my attention on the blog this year, rather than the letter. It’s been a crazy year, between our 10th anniversary, the wedding of Tim’s sister, and visitors aplenty — we either traveled or had visitors every month this year except January. Part of the joy living so close to one of the best cities in the world. (We’ve already got 3 visits on the calendar for 2010 — who else wants to come out and play?)

Goodbye Meme B

One sad note this year: Tim’s grandmother Doris Bliss passed away early this morning. 97 years old, she’d been living on her own up until last week, when she went into the hospital. While the sickness was a surprise, it gave Tim’s family the chance to travel to her bedside to say goodbye. The funeral will be Friday, December 12, in Dubuque.

Per Eastern Area office tradition, we joined the 3rd Annual Ugly Holiday Sweater party and moved it to Hoboken.
