Florida — Day four

After the craziness of the day before, we all relaxed at the house by the pool.

Tim’s days at the tennis academy had worn him out, so he was perfectly happy to lounge with us at the house. We ordered pizza and opened a bottle of wine for lunch. Snoozed a little.

That evening, the kids stayed with a babysitter while the adults went in completely opposite directions. Sean took Tim to a comedy concert featuring Jeff Dunham. I joined Andi at a fundraiser for Opera Tampa, where she performed as part of the chorus and got to share the stage with opera legend Placido Domingo.

We wanted to stay longer, but the drive beckoned. We left on Friday once the morning traffic subsided, starting the long journey back to reality.
