Chicago — Day two

Saturday was spent helping April lounge around without the boys for a day.

April’s husband, Gordan, is a good man. After breakfast, he took Gabriel and Adrian to his parents’ house for an overnight visit. This left us to spend the morning shopping in Bucktown, stopping for lunch at Potbelly (oh, how I miss Potbelly).

That evening, we got gussied up and headed into Andersonville for dinner at a wine bar before seeing a one-man show in Rogers Park. My boss, Stephen, had flown out from LA for the weekend as his boyfriend, Jimmy Doyle, was doing the show, Must Be Nice, in Chicago for 3 weeks. It was the perfect reason to support local theatre and laugh a great deal.
