Chicago — Day three

I caught up with more friends on Sunday, but still got some quality girl time with April.
April slept in (the luxury!) but joined me for a quick cup of coffee before I took the El downtown to meet up with some Alpha Phis for brunch. Nicole Wilson and I were at Mizzou together, and Coree Smith and I had met in the alum book club I belonged to when I lived in Chicago; she made the journey with me from Chicago to LA when we moved in 2007. We had an excellent meal at Hub 51 and got caught up on all the latest Phi news as Coree’s on the board of directors.
After a sweaty walk back from the train (I don’t miss Midwestern humidity), April and I fit in a viewing of the Project Runway despite her DVR’s best attempts to keep us from it. Gordan returned with the boys in time for me to say goodbye before climbing into a taxi and heading back to the east coast.
